Malleus Draconia

Participated in a Tiktok challenge with the characters from Disney's, "Twisted Wonderland" and was challenged to draw Malleus Draconia. For the drawing, I wanted to challenge myself with more intricate lighting and a pose that mirrored the scene in Sleeping Beauty where Aurora pricks her finger on the spindle. The character itself is based off of Maleficent, I think specifically Maleficent in dragon form but don't quote me on that, but I wanted to reference it anyway so that someone who doesn't know the character or the game can piece together a general idea of what it's going for. One of the most difficult part of the drawing was getting all of the little details in his outfit. The outfit I drew him in is quote on quote, "the dorm outfit", so he appears in other, simpler clothing, but, as you can see, there are symbolic elements throughout this outfit in particular snd so I accepted the challenge to draw it, because I am a sucker for symbolism.
